Swing trade alerts on leading growth stocks, sized for your account.
Head trader Rick Pedicelli buys the market’s strongest stocks when our market timing model gives a “Buy” signal. When it doesn’t, he buys less, or nothing new.
Every alert comes with the entry and the stop already set, and the Wagner Daily app’s “Size it” button works out your share count for your account.
You also get our exclusive Wagner Daily trading chat room, where Rick and our members discuss trades during US market hours.

The 3,100+ trade count is reconstructed by MTG from published alerts and is unaudited. Trading involves substantial risk of loss.
We buy the market’s leaders in an uptrend, and stay mostly in cash when there isn’t one.
Every alert follows the same written rules, built by our founder, Deron Wagner, and refined with Rick for more than 20 years.
It’s the same methodology we teach in TradeQuest.
- What we tradeMostly US growth stocks and ETFs, the market’s leaders
- When we buyOn a “Buy” signal. Without one, we buy less, or nothing new.
- Trading styleMomentum swing trades, held for days to a few weeks
- How we limit riskA stop on every trade, and a size set by that stop
- 1
Market first. Our market timing model decides whether we should be buying at all, before any stock gets a look. It weighs the trend of the Nasdaq and the S&P 500, days of heavy selling, and whether breakouts in leading stocks are working.
- 2
Trade the leaders. We trade mostly US growth stocks and ETFs with the most relative strength, meaning they’re rising faster than the market. Leaders tend to keep leading while the trend holds.
- 3
Buy the trigger. Entries come from setups we’ve traded for years, such as base breakouts, pullbacks and breakaway gaps. Rick sends the alert as the trade triggers, when the price moves past the entry.
- 4
Stop first. Every alert comes with its stop, the price where you sell if the trade goes against you. It’s set before entry and only ever moved in our favor.
- 5
The stop sets the size. The distance from the entry to the stop sets the share count, so each loss is planned to be small and known in advance. That’s the math “Size it” does for your account.
- 6
Let the leaders run. Short-term moving averages decide whether we keep holding a stock, and profit is often taken in pieces. In the first half of 2026, fewer than half the trades were winners, and the average loss was about a quarter the size of the average win.
The first-half 2026 figures are for MTG’s model portfolio, reconstructed from published alerts and unaudited. Stops can fill below their price. Trading involves substantial risk of loss, and past results don’t guarantee future results.

A good trade sized too big can do more damage than a bad trade sized right.
Rick’s alerts give you the entry, the stop and his size call.
Turning that into a share count for your own account is where many traders go wrong, especially when the stock is moving and you’re doing the math in your head.
Buy too many shares on a trade that “looks perfect,” and one loss can cost you a month of gains.
Move a stop “just this once,” and a small loss can turn into a big one.
Each alert arrives with its stop, and the app turns your own risk into the share count, so your plan is set before you place the trade.
10 losing trades in a row on a $50,000 account
Same 10 losing trades, and only the risk per trade changes.
An illustration of the math, not a prediction or a trading result.
I love the action. I love being engaged. But without controlling that emotion, you’re not gonna consistently make gains.

From alert to order in 3 steps.
The alert arrives.
Rick Pedicelli, our head trader for more than 20 years, sends each trade during US market hours as it triggers (when the price moves past the entry).
Each alert is a trade in our model portfolio, which Rick runs for Wagner Daily.
It reaches you by text, by email and in the app, with the entry, the stop and Rick’s size call. The entry is the buy price, and the stop is the price where you sell if the trade goes against you.
Tap “Size it.”
Your “risk” setting is how much you’re willing to lose on one trade, such as 1% of your account.
Rick’s size call tells you how much of that to use: “Full size” uses all of it, and “50% size” uses half.
The app divides that amount by the distance between the entry and the stop, then shows your share count, the dollars at risk and the math.
It works the same way for your own trade ideas.
Place the order at your own broker.
Enter the buy order with its stop.
If the price has already moved well above the entry, skip that alert and wait for the next one.
When Rick moves the stop or sells, you get an alert for that too.
The app never connects to your brokerage account. It does the math, and you place the order.
Every alert is saved in the app’s “Alerts” tab, newest first:

Know when to buy, and when to wait.
The MTG Market Timing model tells us when there’s a “Buy” signal, and when it’s time to step aside.
That means we’re buying less, or nothing new.
We call that capital preservation mode, and it’s how we focus on avoiding the damaging losses that hurt most traders in a weak market.
Members see the model’s call every day on the “Today” screen of the Wagner Daily app:
- Green light: a “Buy” signal, and new buy alerts go out.
- Yellow light: no “Buy” signal, so Rick is in cash (holding no stocks) or holding 1 or 2 small positions.
The screen also shows how much room you have left to risk (in percent and in dollars) against your own limit.
If you tap “Size it” for a new buy on a yellow light, the app shows a short warning first, and the choice stays yours.
Check out the “Today” screen below:

On October 13, the model went to 100% cash.
That meant no open positions at all, starting at the open on Tuesday, October 13.
By the close on Friday, October 16, $QQQ was down 4.0% from its October 13 open, and 7.0% below its October 6 high.
The model reacts to what the market is doing, and in mid-October it saw enough selling to move to cash.
$QQQ had 4 distribution days in 7 sessions (closes down 0.2% or more, on higher volume than the day before).

Rick’s next new buy alert came on Wednesday, October 21 ($CRM, in the “Alerts” tab above).
This is one example. The model can be early, late or wrong, and time in cash can mean missed gains.
Knowing when to not trade is probably more important than knowing when to trade.

Live trade alerts
Rick sends each trade as it triggers, with the entry, the stop and his size call.
You also get an alert when he moves a stop or sells.
Over time, that’s about 3 to 4 new trades a week, and fewer (or none) when there’s no “Buy” signal.
Our exclusive Wagner Daily trading chat room
Rick and members discuss the market and their own trades, live during US market hours.
The market timing call
The MTG Market Timing model’s call shows on the “Today” screen every day, with Rick’s note on the market.
The “Size it” feature
It turns each trade alert into the proper share size for your own account.
You can size any stock or ETF idea of your own the same way.
Rick’s open positions
You see every open trade in our model portfolio, with its entry, its stop and the days held.
When Rick moves a stop or sells part of a position, you make the same change at your broker, and one tap updates the app to match.
Rick’s daily Watchlist and market analysis
Rick lists the stocks he’s watching for the next session, along with the market timing call and his notes on the market.
The app opens directly in your web browser (phone or computer), with nothing to download.

Here’s a real exchange from September 30, a few minutes before the close:
MU reports after the close.
Qs bounced into a tough area
struggles above 745
I'd love to play MU or MUU here, but I can't get my head around the reward vs risk
only can do options there
have to be able to limit risk
Maybe set limit order(s) for MU to catch a lower entry on post-earnings volatility?
Qs still have some sell limit resistance in the $745 area
These posts from September 30, 2026 are copied word for word into a redrawn chat window (New York time), with member names hidden and a chart left out.
The room is for education, so questions are about setups and the market, not about your personal account.

What a pleasure it’s been to be part of this community, engaged with other traders who have all different styles and all different information.
The input and feedback from the Morpheus team is invaluable. Having others to interact with who are all wanting to improve their trading skills is very motivating.
MTG is the only active trading group I pay for. It’s been a very good system for me. Thank you for the great content and education.

Every trade from the first half of 2026, winners and losers.
We’ve published over 3,100 trades since 2002, the losers included.
The table below lists every trade and partial exit (a sale of part of a position) the model portfolio closed from January to June 2026, the most recent full half-year, reconstructed from the alerts members received.
Every alert since January 2026 is also in the app’s “Alerts” tab, with its result.
January to June 2026
Each result is the price move on one trade, not the return on an account. The 3,100+ count and these figures are for the model portfolio behind Wagner Daily, reconstructed by MTG from published alerts. They are unaudited, exclude commissions and slippage, and are not any member’s results. Stops can fill below their price. Past results don’t guarantee future results.
Fewer than half the trades were winners, and the average loss was about a quarter the size of the average win.

Questions traders ask
How we trade
What do you trade, and how long do you hold?
Mostly US growth stocks and ETFs with the most relative strength, meaning they’re rising faster than the market.
Entries come from setups we’ve traded for years:
- Base breakouts: the price breaks above a range the stock traded in for weeks, on higher volume.
- Pullbacks: a short dip in a stock that’s trending up.
- Breakaway gaps: a big jump in price at the open, on very heavy volume.
They’re swing trades, held for days to a few weeks. In the first half of 2026, the average hold was 6.3 calendar days.
Why buy stocks that are already going up?
Because leaders tend to keep leading while the trend holds.
Buying a stock that’s already rising means following what the market is doing, instead of guessing where a falling stock will bottom.
A leader can still turn down, and that’s what the stop is for.
What happens when the market turns down?
With no “Buy” signal, we’re in capital preservation mode: buying less, or nothing new.
Rick is in cash (holding no stocks) or holding 1 or 2 small positions, and there may be few or no new buy alerts for weeks.
In mid-October 2026, for example, the model went to 100% cash (see “The model in action” above).
The model can be early, late or wrong, and time in cash can mean missed gains.
Is a robot or AI picking the trades?
No. Rick Pedicelli, our head trader, leads the alerts, using the written, rule-based methodology Deron built.
The two of them have refined it together for more than 20 years.
The app only does the sizing math.
Can’t I find trade ideas for free online, or from AI?
You can find plenty of ideas.
What a free idea or an AI answer usually leaves out is the stop, the size, the timing call for that day, and someone who tells you when it’s time to sell.
Wagner Daily gives you all of that, plus a live chat room to ask about any trade.
I took TradeQuest. Do I need this too?
TradeQuest teaches the methodology, and Wagner Daily applies it in real time.
TradeQuest graduates can use the alerts to compare their own analysis with Rick’s, and the chat room to ask about any trade.
You can also size your own trade ideas in the app with the same math.
Using the alerts
How many alerts will I get?
About 3 to 4 new trades a week on average, and more in strong markets.
With no “Buy” signal, there may be few or none for several weeks, because staying out of a weak market is part of the plan.
Stop changes and sells on open trades still go out as alerts.
I work full time. Can I keep up?
Yes. Swing trades are held for days to a few weeks.
When an alert reaches your phone, place the order with its stop as soon as you can.
If the price has already moved well above the entry, skip that alert and wait for the next one.
Rick’s daily Watchlist lists the stocks he may buy in the next session, each with an entry price and a stop, so you can plan before the market opens.
Does the app connect to my brokerage account?
No. It opens in your web browser and never connects to your brokerage account.
The app does the math, and you place each order at your own broker.
What size account do I need?
The app sizes each trade from the account size and “risk” setting you enter, so a smaller account gets a smaller share count.
At 1% risk, for example, a $5,000 account risks $50 on a “Full size” alert.
You choose your risk per trade, and you can start small while you learn the alerts.
I live outside the US. Will it work for me?
Yes, if your broker can trade US stocks and ETFs.
Alerts go out during US market hours (9:30 AM to 4:00 PM New York time), so check what those hours are where you live.
If they fall during your night, plan ahead from Rick’s daily Watchlist, which gives an entry price and a stop for each stock he may buy in the next session.
The app works in any web browser.
Do you make options calls?
No. Our alerts are swing trades in US stocks and ETFs.
Many chat room members adapt Rick’s trades to short-term call options, and one long-time member regularly shares his options entries and exits in the room.
What returns can I expect, and will I have losing trades?
There’s no promised return, and yes, you’ll have losing trades, sometimes several in a row.
Your results depend on your own account size, your “risk” setting, which alerts you take and the prices you get at your broker.
The published record above lists every trade the model portfolio closed from January to June 2026, with the losses next to the wins.
The stop on every trade is there to keep each loss small while the winners run.
A stop can fill below its price, so a loss can be bigger than planned.
